Tragically, slavery and human trafficking have become a 32 billion dollar global industry, ranking third behind trafficking illegal drugs and weapons. Most assume slavery was successfully abolished in the mid-1800s. Unfortunately, an estimated 50,000 foreign nationals are trafficked into the United States annually.

Hope & Rescue was co-founded by Joel and Kim Sheagren when their hearts were touched by the magnitude of this issue. Using their success and experience in media production, they began creating strategies for increasing awareness through media.

Hope & Rescue leverages 20-plus years of award-winning experience in advertising and media production of Joel Sheagren and seven years, non-profit communication experience of Kim Sheagren.  Along with additional impassioned professionals with diverse expertise, Hope & Rescue aims to impact the fields of influence these experts know best—media and education. Ultimately, Hope & Rescue envisions a new generation of people prepared to solve world social problems and be catalysts for justice.
