Hope & Resq has connected with a team of three Americans who are answering a call to action, traveling to the southeast Asian country of Cambodia to bring hope to girls rescued from the sex trade. We hope to have more information in the coming weeks about their heroic efforts across the ocean, but for now the following is a message from the team’s leader, Sara, who connected with Hope and Resq just before embarking.

A team of 3 of us felt called by the Lord to travel to Cambodia this
February and March, assisting a home that houses girls rescued from sex trafficking. These girls are given an education, taught English, learn trades, receive psychological counseling, and most importantly, hear about Jesus. We will be demonstrating how to make certain sewing and craft projects, in hopes that the girls can duplicate them and sell them in the market. We will also teach personal hygiene classes, as well as some basic budgeting skills. We will also assist with any other needs that arise while in the home.

We ask for prayers as we carry the love of Jesus with us, knowing this is the only one true hope for these girls.
